Our company president
answers your questions. If you have a question you would like Roger to answer,
just fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
Here are some questions that Roger has already answered.
Q.
"How do we ship our
products?"
A. We service our customers with our own
fleet of Package Supply vehicles. In theres a reason, we may use an
outside carrier such as United Parcel Service.
Q. "What are your payment terms and how do I get
credit?"
A. We accept all major credit cards as
well as personal and business checks. In addition, you may apply for a credit
line by requesting an application. When approved, you will receive your orders
on an "open credit" basis.
Q.
"If I have established credit, how can I get a
discount?"
A. Package Supply requires payment
within 30 days of the invoice date of a shipment. However, if you pay within 10
days of the invoice date, you may receive an additional percentage off your
total invoice.
Q. " What does
Package Supply sell?"
A. We are a "full line"
distributor to the dry cleaning, laundry, and coin-op trades. We carry both
branded and generic products: from hangers to garment film to marking
identification systems. We stock more than 1,000 items, while many more are
available by direct-ship to customers by Package Supply vendors. We also have
products for other industries. Please ask a salesperson for details.
Q. "Does
Package Supply provide its customers with technical
assistance?"
A. We are committed to assisting our
customers. We are always ready to share our knowledge of such products as
detergents, pads and covers, and laundry products. Our sales staff knows the
fabricare industry and is helpful in solving customer problems. In addition, we
can call upon the expertise of our suppliers. We want our customers to look to
us for the help they need.
Q. "Sometimes
I do not receive my entire order. Why?"
A. Our goal is to ship complete orders.
With so many items, it is sometimes necessary for some to be shipped directly
from the manufacturer. Other times, a particular item is out of stock. As a
result, it was not on the truck when your delivery arrived at your store. If
this happens, the item is automatically back ordered and shipped on a priority
basis, regardless of when your next delivery is scheduled.
Q. "I am not
satisfied with the current product line I am using, but I do not want to offend
the local representative of the manufacturer. What should I
do?"
A. This is why we have both vanilla and
chocolate. Not every product fits every operator. When it comes right down to
it, you really dont need a reason to make a change. At Package Supply,
our goal is always the same: to make certain you are pleased with the products
you use. Because we take time to understand how you work and the way your
business operates, we are always prepared to make product recommendations to
help you achieve the results you want. Because we are a "full line"
distributor, we have all the product resources you need.
Q. "I am
interested in selling my business or acquiring another one. Can you
help?"
A. Yes. While Package Supply is not a
business broker, we are often aware of who is looking to sell or buy a
fabricare business. There are occasions when we are helpful in arranging for a
buyer and seller to meet. This is an informal service and there is no
charge.
Q. "I have
been in the fabricare industry and am looking for a job. Can you assist
me?"
A. Just as we often help buyers and
sellers of businesses meet, we can help the prospective employee meet employers
looking for help. Just let us know your skills and well pass along the
information should there be a possible available position. Again, we simply act
informally and do not accept any fees for this service.
